Happiness. Oh, true joy of life that allows for a sabbatical from reality, even if only for a few gleaming moments in time. But they exist, and within their existence, if they are weighted heavier than the bad parts, like that teacher that makes the big project worth a larger perfect, they make my heart shimmer in the light. All those tiny parts of life finally seemed to come together, the way that foam model of the solar system comes together with wire coat hangers to spin in a circle. The wires are thin and bendable, and can be cut with the right tool, much like the limbs that my heart has stretched out on lately. But each risk, each stretch, each heart wire is necessary to reach a different planet. or small piece of happiness. regardless of what the chemical make up of each piece is, the wire connects it back. back to me. back to my heart. my soul. where happiness has streamed in, and made my heart
gleam. It's like the hands of your closest friends. all reaching in together. oh the love. the diversity. the different hearts and souls all connected. and banded together.
It's the only time you'll ever catch me saying feet are beautiful. not because of what they are. but because of what they represent. it's the 'little things' that matter. oh boy do we know this..
And here I'll be dancing on the ground, am I right side up or upside down, to each other we'll be facing, by love we'll beat back the pain we've found.
You know I mean to tell you all the things I've been thinking deep inside ...
Keep starin' baby, keep starin'. They don't know what to see. Keep shining this way...
